The Pokémon Abridged Series

As the name suggests, The Pokémon The Abridged Series is a dramatically shortened down parody dubbed version of the original series, cutting each episode down from twenty minutes, to around four to ten minutes. This includes episodes in two parts, which are taken as one episode, although there are exceptions.

This parody dubbed version of the series so far has shown exaggerated counterparts to the original series and seems to focus around Pokémon as pets and slaves (and also food, which was implied when Professor Oak answers "I must of ate that yesterday") rather then friends in the original episodes. All the characters seem to have their normal personality, Ash being late and messy, Gary being vain and rude. Also a new development which looks as if Professor Oak is a cannibal, who eats Pokémon. The series pokes fun of the original series and has humorously answered the question of Ash's father.

As expected in a parody dub, the characters for the series have similar personalities to their original counterparts; however some aspects are greatly exaggerated.
