Pokémon Wiki:Requests for User Rights

This is the page where users can request Administrator and Rollback rights and vote on other users who are requesting rights. Please read the following regulations and instructions completely before voting or placing a request.

In the event that an Administrator or Rollback is being unruly or breaking the rules, a request for their demotion may be placed below in the Requests for demotion header. The same voting rules apply for this as well. The vote totals required for their demotion remain the same as those for promotions as well.

When you add a comment or a vote, please do not use word bubbles, as the numbering will get messed up. If word bubbles are used, it will have the template coding removed to regular coding and the unsigned template will be used in place of a signature.

Rules and Regulations

Upon your request, it will be discussed among community members for a period of two weeks.** After the time has expired, the user's request will be reviewed and a discussion may be held between all active administrators. If the request is denied, you are prohibited from requesting adminship or rollback rights for thirty days.* And remember, when voting or requesting rights, your signature must have a link to your userpage and talkpage.

Requirements for Requesting Rights

1. You should not have a ban history.*
2. You should not be be less than a month old.
3. You must edit mainspace regularly.
4. You may self-nominate, but do so with discretion.
5. You must add an explanation of why you deserve administrative or rollback rights.

Requirements for Voting

1. You must be over two weeks old on the wiki.
2. You must provide a reason for your vote.
3. You must not have a ban history on the wiki.
4. Your vote must not be biased.*
5. You must have over 100 mainspace edits.

Requirements for Rollback

1. You must be at least one month old on the wiki.
2. You must have at least 400 mainspace edits.
3. You must not have a ban history.*
4. You must gain +3 votes in your favour by the end of the request.

Requirements for Administrator

1. You must be at least four months old on the wiki.
2. You must have rollback rights before requesting administrator rights.
3. You must have at least 500 mainspace edits.
4. You must not have a ban history.*
5. You must gain +4 votes in your favour by the end of the request.

• Supports count as +1
• Neutrals count as 0
• Opposes count as -1

I don't normally nominate people, because I feel that they should nominate themselves if they want to receive the rights they are requesting. Energy X has shown great commitment to this wiki and helps out in every way he can. He tags many pages for deletion, I can't link the pages that he's tagged, since they're in his deleted contributions, but he is very good at what he does. You can see that the majority, if not all, of his talk page messages (which I had a link for but it broke the template) are alerting the admins to vandals and pages that require deletion. I'm ending school soon, but I have a somewhat summer job, so I won't be around much, I can't speak for Slaying and Rainbow Shifter, but it's always good to have admins in different timezones. Basically, the work that Energy X does is deserving of administrator rights.

Support: I need somebody else! I need to check every page I see in Wiki Activity as well as deleting 14+ candidates for deletion every time I log on. And I really cannot think of somebody more active than Energy to fulfil this role. Rainbow Shifter 16:55, June 15, 2013 (UTC)

Comment: About the blocks; some of the anonymous users that vandalised pages have done it in a recognizable way that you can compare some of their older accounts. Besides, with the "Wiki lock" that will prevent the anonymous users from editing, I can ban logged users by the pattern I use from the other wikis: first is three days, then the block rises to a week, then two weeks, then a month etc., depending if the user violated the rules. - - 17:08, June 27, 2013 (UTC)

King Marth 64 (rollback)

I will like to become as one of the rollback users for the Pokemon Wiki, I started as a user as DigiPen92 (my previous user name) in three years ago for the Black and White section as a Minor User and then, came back as a full time editor that knows how to revert edits, knows how to place the Deletion templates in pages that are vandalism/spam/unneeded, created about 10 pages in the wiki, I kinda know and do more on the game sections than the anime since I played the main game series alot (I haven't seen much on the anime alot), and I have about 400 main space edits in this wiki right now, so I will do helping out reverting alot of vandalism and support on the wiki. {{SUBST:User:King Marth 64/Sig}} 00:33, June 25, 2013 (UTC)
