Pokémon Battle Revolution (ポケモンバトルレボリューション Pokémon Batoru Reboryūshon) is the first game in the Pokémon series to appear on the Wii; incidentally, it was the first game on the Wii to connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, and to feature wireless connectivity between the Wii and the Nintendo DS system.
Gameplay
Pokémon Battle Revolution plays out in a Pokémon theme park known as Pokétopia. Players must pass through ten colosseums to reach their goal of becoming the Pokétopia Master. These stadiums include new features, such as different play styles in which the order of Pokémon are randomized or you are forced to play with some of your opponent's Pokémon.
In Pokémon Battle Revolution, the currency is Poké Coupons, which can be gained by clearing a colosseum. Poké Coupons can then be used to buy rare Items, which can be transferred to the DS games, and clothing from the shop.
