Generation V	Very large pearls that sparkle in a pretty silver color. A maniac will buy them for a high price.
Generation VI	Very large pearls that sparkle in a pretty silver color. They can be sold at a high price to shops.

Pearl String is an item introduced in Generation V that can be sold at Icirrus City at the high price of 25000. It is located at Route 13. Other than this, it doesn't have any other effects.

In Pokémon X and Y they can be sold at Poké Marts for 7,500.
