Paul's Drapion is Paul's third Pokémon that he used during the Sinnoh League battle against Ash.
Biography
Drapion is a powerful Pokémon managing to defeat three of Ash's Pokémon in a row. It blocked Buizel's Sonicboom with a flick of its tail and then grabbed it but Buizel escaped by inflating his floatation sac and then blasting Drapion with Water Gun whilst propelling himself into the air at the same time. However while it was in the air, Drapion used Toxic Spikes and as soon as Buizel landed it was poisoned and Drapion finished it with Pin Missile. Drapion then defeated Ash's Staraptor by grabbing it with its tail and slamming it into the ground, poisoning it, before finishing it with Cross Poison. Ash's Torterra put up a good fight but it was also defeated when Drapion grabbed it while it was attempting to use Rock Climb and then used Poison Fang. Torterra healed itself with Synthesis, but Drapion knocked it out with a powerful Pin Missile before being recalled.
Drapion appeared later in the battle to fight Ash's Gliscor, but Gliscor was too fast for the Ogre Scorp pokemon. Drapion still found a way to land a strong hit with Pin Missile, but he was burned by a Fire Fang attack and Drapion was finally defeated.

Trivia
- Paul was seen attempting to catch a Drapion with his Electabuzz in Chim-Charred but it escaped. It is unknown whether this is the same Drapion.
