Using Frenzy Plant
Paul's Torterra is one of Paul's Pokemon. It first appears in Episode 40 of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl series of the anime. It is the final evolution of his starter Pokémon, Turtwig. Torterra uses many powerful attacks such as Frenzy Plant, Giga Drain, and even Hyper Beam. It managed put up a decent fight but then got beaten by Cynthia's Garchomp. Later in the season Torterra became a massive tank against super effective moves like Ash's Gliscor's X-Scissor, Fire Fang and Paul's Weavile's ice type moves.
Personality
Paul's Torterra is not shown interacting with many people or pokemon though it didn't seem to bother an interest in Brock's Happiny whom rushed towards it as soon as it saw it, in Aiding the Enemy. Torterra took interest in Ash's Turtwig when it evolved into Grotle, to the point of being distracted during training Paul insisted that it let things be. Torterra later in the episode showed up an showed Grotle that its speed wasn't its only form of offense useing Ash's Gliscor as an example.
