This Nidoking is a Poison/Ground-type Pokémon owned by Paul.

Biography

Nidoking was used to battle Pyramid King Brandon. He fought Brandon's Registeel and was the only one of Paul’s Pokémon that put up a fight. He tanked Flash Cannon, and retaliated with Earth Power, with power that amazed Brandon himself. He then used  Double Kick, which caused Registeel to stumble, but it kept its footing. Nidoking then used Thunderbolt, but it was no match for Registeel’s Iron Head, leading to the knockout.[1]
