This Azumarill is a water/fairy-type Pokémon originally owned by Paul.

Biography

Paul used his Azumarill in his battle against Roark and his Geodude. Azumarill used Hydro Pump but Geodude was able to counter it by using Hidden Power. Hidden Power went through Hydro Pump and attacked Azumarill. Paul then ordered Azumarill to use Water Gun but Roark ordered Geodude to use Rollout. Geodude used Rollout and was able to attack Azumarill before it could use Water Gun, knocking it out. Paul later gave away his Azumarill to a young boy because it was easily defeated in battle. Ash Ketchum became angry on him but Paul stated that Azumarill was just a lost cause and walked away.
