Trivia

  • It is the 100th Water Pokémon.
  • Palpitoad resembles the stage between a tadpole and a frog/toad seeing as it retains its tail and still has relatively small limbs.

Origin

Palpitoad is based on a toad tadpole mixed with a loudspeaker.

Etymology

Palpitoad's English name is a combination of the words "palpitate" or "palpitation" (a pulsation) and "toad".
