The P*DA is an item in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness that you obtain at the start of the game. It serves as a combination of the Pokédex and items like the Pokégear throughout your adventure to save the Shadow Pokémon. Some of it's features are keeping track of the Shadow Pokémon you met and if you captured them or not.
