Old Mansion is a location in Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs.

Overview[]

The Old Mansion is an abandoned mansion the used to belong to Amun, a researcher who investigated the many legends of the Oblivia Region. The mansion has become decrepit, with worn furniture and fragile floors that can give out without notice. There are also plates that fly at the Player all on their own when they get to close. There is a secret pathway behind a bookcase in one of the rooms that leads to a room filled with countless books pertaining to Oblivia's legends.

The Player and Murph first travel to the mansion to find a book written by Amun. The many mysterious happenings in the mansion eventually send Murph running in terror and he falls through a hole in the floor. The Player reunites with Murph after finding the secret passage and the two continue in their search. They soon find Pinchers investigating the mansion as well and confront their leader, Blue Eyes. After Blue Eyes is defeated, Ukulele Pichu shocks her and stuns her, allowing her to be captured and Murph finds the book they were looking for.

In the post-game Quest, the Forbidden Song, the Player returns to the mansion to acquire a book from Amun's collection about a fourth song about Latias/Latios.
