The Lost Lapras is the 3rd episode in the Orange Islands Season.

Episode Plot

After picking up the GS Ball from Professor Ivy, Brock decided to stay on the island so Ash and Misty head back home by blimp. Unfortunately, our duo gets double-crossed by Team Rocket once again, and Jigglypuff puts the whole crew to sleep. After another crash landing in the middle of nowhere they meet a new friend named Tracey while trying to help a Lapras that washed up on the beach.

The opening animation of the theme song shows Ash after losing at the Indigo League.
Since Tracey Sketchit was considered "The New Brock", he was in the intro instead of Brock.
Ash's Rivals so far have been seen in the intro. They include: Gary Oak, Samurai, Duplica, the Hiker from IL051, A.J, Giselle, Jeanette Fisher, Mandi and Ritchie.
This is the second time that Ash has encounter a Lapras. The first time he saw one was in Holiday Hi-Jynx.
The "Who's that Pokémon?" in this episode is Ninetales.
