PokéBall Peril is the 2nd episode in the Orange Islands season.

Episode Plot

After making a crash landing onto Valencia Island, our heroes get directions to Professor Ivy's laboratory where the mysterious Poké Ball is being held. Once at the laboratory, Brock realizes that Professor Ivy and her group of scientists are Pokémon breeders just like him! Suddenly Brock begins to feel at home and thinks about staying for awhile to continue his studies on Pokémon breeding.

  • Professor Felina Ivy
  • Professor Ivy's Assistants.

  • Professor Ivy was seen to be more of an outside Pokémon Professor, a quality she shares with Professor Birch.
  • The GS Ball seems to be a form of foreshadowing since the initials might stand for Gold and Silver, as in Pokémon Gold Version and Pokémon Silver Version .
  • The "Who's that Pokémon?" in this episode is Lapras.
  • Team rocket say at the end of the episode that the blimp was filled with hydrogen, in reality, nobody in there right mind would dare use hydrogen gas after the hindenburg disaster.
