However, although Slaking's Focus Punch had failed to be used, the punch itself, but not the power behind it, hit Grovyle causing enough damage to cause the Grass type to wince in pain. Slaking smiled triumphantly but then the pain of Grovyle's Leaf Blade overwhelmed it and it fainted.

*Interestingly, Norman's Slaking does not seem to be hindered by its special ability, [[Truant]]. Actually it's never even been implied that it ''has ''the ability, despite Truant being the only ability Slaking can use.

*When Grovyle delivered its final blow to Slaking with Leaf Blade, Slakings fist was still glowing, even though the Leaf Blade should have stopped Focus Punch from working. This also happens when Grovyle uses [[Bullet Seed]] in Slakings face while it's charging up a Focus Punch.
