Nathaniel is a young boy who lives in Twinleaf Town, Dawn's home town.

Biography

Season 12: DP Galactic Battles

He is very fond of bug Pokémon and often spends his days going into the nearby forest and leaving food out for them and watching out for rarely seen breeds. Ash and Pikachu found Nathaniel in the forest one day, who warned them not to go too near a particular tree where he had left some honey for the bug Pokémon a few days before. Nathaniel is too young to be a Pokémon trainer yet, but he is looking forward to the day when he will be allowed to go out on his journey and catch loads of bug Pokémon. Nathaniel’s longing to become a Pokémon trainer reminded Ash of when he was young and looking forward to going out on his journey.
