[[Category:Psychic-type Pokémon]][[Category:Generation V Pokémon]]Munna (ムンナ Munna) is a Psychic type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It seems to have been referenced to in the Generation 1 games: Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow. It has the abilities Forewarn and Synchronize. Munna's evolution is Musharna, and both give off the Dream Smoke that, once obtained, allows you to use a "Game Sync" which enables the uploading of your Black and White file to the Internet. It evolves into Musharna with a Moon Stone.
Appearance
Munna is a mainly pink quadruped Pokémon of indefinable basis, somewhat resembling tapirs or pigs. Its body is rounded and stubby-limbed, giving it a lump-like appearance, with pink-and-purple floral patterns along the back and underside. It has oval red eyes and what appear to be two eyelashes on top, with a darker pink oval on the upper side of its light pink curving snout.
In the anime
In the anime Munna makes it's appearance in BW006. A girl named Fennel has a Munna. It was first seen reacting to Musharna's calling, then seen waking up Kibago after it was hit by Musharna's dream smoke. It was Munna who showed Kibago's dream of evolving into its final evolved form Ononokus.
During the phenomenon, Munna was the only one not affected by the dream smoke since they are drawn to each other.

While this could be a coincidence, Nintendo may have used this as the basis of the pokemon, or this could show that Nintendo already had part of the Fifth Generation planned out.
- It is similar in appearance to a guinea pig or a lemming.
- This pokemon was revealed along with six other Pokémon in July's issue of CoroCoro on June 11, 2010.
- Munna's name is the same in English as it is in Japanese. The official romanisation is confimed to be the same.
- In Pokemon Black and White, Momoko will give you her Munna so you can access Dream World.
- Munna is 3rd pokemon to be related to dreams (others are Drowzee and Hypno)
- Its name comes from 'mu'(夢), an alternate reading for 'yume' or dream.
