This Machoke is a fighting-type Pokémon owned by Maylene.

Biography

Machoke first appeared in a flashback where it battled Paul's Honchkrow. Machoke's Dynamic Punch collided with Honchkrow's Sky Attack.[1]

Machoke later appeared to battle Ash's Staravia. Staravia started off with Quick Attack, but was blocked by Machoke's Brick Break. Staravia then used Gust, pushing Machoke away. It proved to be strong and fast enough to avoid Staravia's Aerial Ace, and retaliating with Cross Chop and Brick Break. Machoke went to use Seismic Toss, but it was eventually defeated when Staravia used Quick Attack to increase the speed and power of his Aerial Ace.[2]
