Marlon

Template:GymLeaderBoxMarlon is the final Gym Leader of Unova, who specializes in using Water-type Pokémon. He debuts in Pokémon Black and White Versions 2.

In the anime

Marlon makes a short cameo appearance in the the opening of Pokémon: Best Wishes 2, along with Caitlin, Cynthia, Alder, and Drayden.

He will make his debut in BW096 battling a trainer's Samurott with his Mantine.

Trivia

• Marlon's name possibly originates from the Spanish word for sea, "mar" and the fish marlin. Marlon's Japanese name, Shizui, slightly has the word Mizu which means water in Japanese, a reference to his type preference.
