Lugia is a legendary Psychic/Flying-type Pokémon that appears in Hoopa and the Clash of Ages.

Personality[]

Despite being on screen for a short time, Lugia was able to show some form of personality, for starters it showed to be extremely loyal to others, even when just meeting them, like when saving ash, hoopa and pikachu from unbound hoopa's hyperspace hole attack, or when taking a bit hit from unbound hoopa's dark pulse and getting right back up, even when sent back to it's home by unbound hoopa, it tried to go back and keep helping.

And despite the tough battle and opponent it was against, Lugia managed to stay rather calm while it battled until it was hit by dark pulse.

Biography[]

Lugia was summoned to Dahara City by Hoopa in order to combat its dark counterpart, Hoopa Unbound. Lugia held its own well against the dark Hoopa, preventing it from capturing the good Hoopa or Ash with attacks such as aeroblast and Dragon Rush.

Despite saving ash, hoopa and pikachu from unbound hoopa's hyperspace hole attack, Lugia took a big hit from unbound hoopa's dark pulse, though Lugia got back up after crashing onto a building and grew so mad it charged towards unbound hoopa with Dragon Rush and prepared to finish it off with aeroblast.

However, Unbound Hoopa, at that point, had grown tired of Lugia's interference and used it's own ring to block the attack, and even though Lugia tried to avoid the ring, unbound hoopa pulled the ring up infront of Lugia, returned it to it's undersea home and making the ring vanish on the other side before lugia could come back through it and continue helping ash and hoopa.

Lugia was last shown during the end credits as all the legendaries shown in the movie were shown through different rings.
