Luana (Japanese: ルリコ Ruriko) is the Gym Leader of the Kumquat Island Gym from the Orange Islands. In order to obtain the Jade Star Badge, Trainers must defeat the Gym Leader in a double battle. This is the final badge of four obtained by Ash in the Orange Islands League. She has a son that looks like Ash and also has a Pikachu, and because of this she confuses him with her son when they first met.
