Light screen (Japanese: ひかりのかべ Light Wall) is a Psychic-type move introduced in Generation I. The user creates at wall in front of them that raises Sp. Defense for 5 turns, then the screen goes away.
Effect
In Battle
A wondrous wall of light is put up to suppress damage from special attacks for five turns.
Contests
Can avoid being startled by others.
Super Contests
Prevents the Voltage from going up in the same turn.
Trivia
The attacks Bite and Brick Break can break the opponent's Light Screen.
