Leech Life (きゅうけつ Suck Blood) is a Bug-type move introduced in Generation I.

Effect

In Battle

A blood-draining attack. The user's HP is restored by half the damage taken by the target. If the target has the ability Liquid Ooze, the user receives damage instead. If the user has the held item Big Root, Leech Life recovers 30% more HP than it normally would. It however does not increase the damage dealt by the move.
