Leavanny (Japanese: ハハコモリ Hahakomori) is a Bug/Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. Leavanny appears to be based off a Template:WP or a mantis. This Pokémon is known to take care of Pokémon that are cold or are in need of help. It makes clothes out of leaves and its own adhesive silk using its sewing needle-like hands.

Trivia
- It shares similarities with Butterfree, as it is the first fully evolved Bug Pokémon in their regional Pokédexes and a part of a three stage evolution line.
- It's name appears to be a combination of "leaf/leaves" and "nanny". As it is the "Nurturing Pokémon", this is appropriate as nannies take care of children when their parents are at work, or unable to.
- You can also find Leavanny in Rustling grass.
