The Lava Zone is a location in PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure. It is a volcanic crater primarily inhabited by Fire-Type Pokémon. The Pokémon of this Zone are said to love battling.
Story[]
When Pikachu enters the Lava Zone, he is greeted by Hitmontop, who teaches him how to operate the Zone's drill to dig for ore. However, the drill is currently overheated, preventing it's use, and Hitmontop recommends Pikachu check out the furnace that is operated by Camerupt. Pikachu defeats Camerupt to gain access to the furnace and uses it along with the cooled drill to make an Iron Bar to fix a switch that controls flame pillars. When Pikachu moves on to the next area, he reunites with Charmander, who has learned of Pikachu's exploits When Pikachu tries to speaks to Blaziken, the guard of his area Farfetch'd and Magcargo prevent him from speaking to Blaziken unless Pikachu can defeat Farfetch'd and clear both Bastiodon's and Rhyperior's attractions. After the guard's trials are cleared, Pikachu finally meets with Blaziken requests he reconcile with Venusaur and Empoleon. However, Blaziken refuses, believing his leadership is what the park needs most, but agrees to make amends if Pikachu can clear his attraction. After Pikachu clears Blaziken's attraction Blaziken entrusts him with a Prism Piece and the mission to save the PokéPark while he reconciles with Venusaur and Empoleon.
