LPGELass

Artwork of a Lass from Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!.

A Lass (called a Miniskirt in Japan) is a Trainer Class introduced in Generation I. Like their English and Japanese names suggest, they are always depicted as average young girls clad in short skirts that typically end above their thighs.

While some Lasses like to wear outfits that resemble school uniforms, other ones like to wear regular tops, including t-shirts, tank tops, sweaters, vests, and jackets (though they sometimes pair them with ribbons or accessories). Additionally, every single Lass in every game (with the sole exception of the Lasses in Galar) wears some form of short socks.

They are one of the oldest in-use Trainer classes, having appeared since the very first games. Game-wise, Lasses are usually encountered early on in the player's adventure, and they often use Pokémon encountered early on as well. They often use Normal-type Pokémon, but some later-encountered Lasses switch to stereotypically "cute" species of Pokémon instead.

In Generation III, a pair of Lasses can be put together to form Sr. and Jr. Lasses, one of whom, the elder, is the younger's mentor.
