Lagging Tail
It is possible that the Lagging Tail is the Generation IV's version of the SlowpokeTail item found in the Generation II games (due to it being held by wild Slowpoke and its effect when held in battle). However the difference is the SlowpokeTail doesn't affect Pokémon holding it. However, it maybe related to Onix as the item resembles an Onix's tail.

Lagging Tail is a held item that appears in the Generation IV Pokémon games. When held by a Pokémon it causes the Pokémon to strike last in the priority bracket (basically it does the opposite of the Quick Claw item, except that it always works).

ObtainedEdit

It is found on Route 47 in HGSS. Wild Slowpoke and Lickitung are occasionally found holding the item.

TriviaEdit

 • Its sprite resembles an Onix's tail.
 • It does not increase the power of Gyro Ball like the Iron Ball does, since it alters the priority of the user's moves rather then lowering the users speed.
