Kingler (キングラー Kingler) is a Water-type Pokémon. It is the evolution of Krabby.

Appperance

Kingler is a Pincer Pokémon. It has a crest on top of its head. It has two pincers with different sizes.

Special Abilities

Kingler can have the ability Hyper Cutter or the ability Shell Armor. Hyper Cutter prevents Kingler's Attack from decreasing. Shell Armor prevents Kingler from getting hit by critical hits. Kingler is a strong 'Physical Sweeper', with moves such as Swords Dance, Rock Slide, Crabhammer, Brick Break, Return, and X-Scissor. The larger pincer has 10,000 horsepower strength. However, it is so heavy, it is difficult to aim.

Anime

Ash has one, which evolved from his Krabby after a battle against an Exeggutor in the Indigo Plateau Conference.

Trivia

Kingler has the word "King" in it. It was probably added due to the size of it's claw and it's size in general.

Locations

To get one in Red, it can be found in the water on route 23 and the Cerulean Cave.

To get one in Blue, it can be found in the water on route 23, Seafoam Island, and Cerulean Cave.

To get one in Yellow, it can be found in the water on route 9, 24, 25, and Seafoam Island.

To get one in Gold, Silver, and Crystal, it can be found in the water on route 34, Cherrygrove, Olivine, Mahogany, and Cerulean City

Gym.

To get one in Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Colosseum, and XD, it has to be traded from FireRed and LeafGreen.

To get one in FireRed, it has to be evolved from a Krabby.

To get one in LeafGreen, it can be found in the water on routes 19, 20, 21, 25, One Island, Pallet Town, Bond Bridge, Five Isle Meadow, Green Path, Icefall Path, Kindle Road, Memorial Pillar, Outcast Isand, Resort Gorgeous, Tanoby Ruins, Treasure Beach, Water

Labyrinth, and Water Path, and on one island, use super rod and fish on the small island with the trainer.

To get one in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, it has to be evolved from a Krabby.
