Kenny is a student in Hoenn's Pokémon Trainer School and was the Character of the Day in Gonna Rule the School!. He was initially a student that feared Pokémon, only attending the school because of his parents' wishes. However, after Team Rocket stole many Pokémon and Kenny helped Max defeat Team Rocket, his view on Pokémon changed and he grew compassionate and overcame his fear.
