This Kangaskhan, nicknamed Kanga, along with her child, Lil' Kanga, is a normal-type Pokémon owned by X.

Biography

Kanga and Lil' Kanga won the last battle of a Junior Tournament for X. Lil' Kanga impressed the crowd by coming out of Kanga's pouch and fighting alongside her. After the battle, some reporters came to hassle them and X; exhausted, Kanga and Lil' Kanga couldn't do much. X tried to defend them, but Gurkinn stepped in to send off the journalists. X, afraid of the paparazzi, shut himself in his house; Lil' Kanga copied him, sticking to her mother's pouch. This prevented her growth into an adult Kangaskhan.[1]

X & Y arc

Tierno visited X's house and saw Y attempting to get X out of the house. Tierno was sad Kanga couldn't still return to X, who was still in his depressed state.[1]

When Team Flare attacked during the destruction of Vaniville Town, Kanga and Lil' Kangcted X and Y from Team Flare's Pyroar and even spontaneously Mega Evolved to achieve this task. Lil' Kanga started attacking Pyroar and Houndoom and managed to defeat them.[2]

With Trevor's urging, Kanga and X try to practice Mega Evolving against wild Pokémon, but their attempts failed.

X accepted a challenge to battle from Viola, and Kanga dodged her Vivillion's Supersonic and defeated it with a Thunderbolt.[4]

Shauna, controlled by Celosia, tried to steal the Kangaskhanite. X managed to retrieve it back and Kanga Mega Evolves. Outnumbered and out-powered, Celosia fled from the battle.[5]
