Johto Route 32 (Japanese: 32ばんどうろ, Hepburn32 Bandouro) is a route that is located in the aptly-named Johto region. It has four exits: a north exit, a south exit, and a west exit. The north exit leads to Violet City, the south exit leads to Union Cave, and the west exit leads to the Ruins of Alph. In Generation II and Generation IV, there is a man along the route that will not let the player character pass until they have defeated Falkner at the Violet City Gym. After the player defeats Falkner, the man will give them a Miracle Seed, which boosts a Pokémon's Grass-type moves.
