In the Movie "[[Jirachi: Wish Maker|''Jirachi: Wish Maker'']]", '''Jirachi''' is a mythical [[Pokémon]] awakening every hundred years for seven days from a mysterious rock while the Millennium Comet was nearby. Jirachi is said to grant wishes and was taken by [[Butler]], who was hoping to use Jirachi powers for his own gain. [[Butler]]'s girlfriend [[Diane]] realized what he was doing, and informed [[Ash]], [[Max]], [[Brock]] and [[May (anime)|May]]. Butler used Jirachi's ability's in an attempt to clone [[Groudon]] for [[Team Magma]], The creature it ended up creating was by no means Groudon. The energy from the comet caused a strange effect were it needed to absorb lifeforms, humans, Pokémon, and many other things to stay alive. Realizing his mistake Butler joins forces with Ash and his group to try to fix his mistake and destroy the faulty clone. After managing this amazing feat Jirachi once again absorbed energy from the comet and re petrified back into a stone and sank into the earth to share his energy with all of nature.

Hanging on those three points are three light green bands that are part of Jirachi's ability to grant wishes. It also has two yellow strings streaming from behind it. The eye positioned at the center of its stomach is its true eye, which it can use to absorb the power of the Comet.

Jirachi is a psychic/steel-type Pokémon that plays a pivotal role in the movie Jirachi: Wish Maker. Jirachi is a legendary Pokémon who awakens once every thousand years for a period of seven days, coinciding with the appearance of the Millennium Comet.
