Jasmine's Magnemite was often seen on Jasmine's shoulder, although it did not accompany her when she visited Sinnoh. Magnemite was shown to be incredibly fast, evading many of Pikachu's attacks but was eventually defeated by Quick Attack. The only attack that Magnemite used throughout the battle was Thunder Wave.
