James' Amoonguss is the second Pokémon that James obtained in the Unova Region. James' Amoonguss first appeared in "BW111: New Places... Familiar Faces!", debuting along with Jessie's Frillish when Team Rocket attacked Ash and his friends for the first time since "Operation Tempest" and the temporary retreat back to Kanto.
