While heading to Goldenrod City, Ash and co. (Specifically Brock), stumble upon a pre-school for Wooper and the teacher, a young woman named Olesia. But when Olesia's mother broke her leg, Olesia left Ash and co. in charge of the Wooper. However Olesia's favorite Wooper escapes and Brock has a breakdown. Can Ash and Misty manage to bring the Wooper back before Olesia returns?
A clip from JE011: Once in a Blue Moon was used to illustrate the evolution relation between Wooper and its evolved form Quagsire.
When trying to figure out how to control the Wooper it's odd ash doesn't view his pokedex on instructions on how to deal with Wooper.
The "Who's that Pokémon?" in this episode is Skarmory.
When team rocket are looking for what they thought was a giant mushroom, it was actually a Wooper, Jessie says that mushrooms don't get up and walk away. However if you're very picky with details, Paras and Parasect are both "mushroom" pokemon, so really if you look at it like that then i guess a mushroom can get up and walk away.
It's odd that in every episode of pokemon that has a rope bridge, they always seem to break for Ash and the gang or are in an extreme state of disrepair to the point where the lightest amount of pressure put on it will break the boards or snap the ropes.
"Oh you don't know my Wooper very well Ash. Team Rocket are the ones who are in trouble now."
