Items are one of the key components in the Pokémon World. Items like Potions and Oran Berries heal Pokémon, while items like Sun Stone and Deepseascale evolve certain species of Pokémon. Some boost friendship. Others create contest sheen.

Key Items are important and cannot be sold. They are used often and can help with catching Pokémon, holding TMs and HMs, and carrying accessories or game coins.
