Iron Tail (アイアンテール Iron Tail) is a Steel-type physical move introduced in Generation II. Iron Tail is used by the Pokémon by hardening its tail and then proceeding to slam it into the opponent.

Iron Tail is a physical attack that has 100 power and 75% accuracy. Additionally, there is a 10% chance that the opponent's Defense stat will be lowered.

In Anime
Iron Tail has been used repeatedly throughout the Anime series, mostly by Ash's Pikachu. While each Pokémon uses Iron Tail slightly differently, the move is usually portrayed as the user's tail glowing brightly and then being hurled at the opposing Pokémon or enemy. In Pokémon Best Wishes, When a Pokémon uses Iron Tail it's tail turns into a shiny-silver Color.
