Hydro Pump is a non-contact Water-type move introduced in Generation I. It is very powerful, but it is not very accurate. Its base attack power is 110 and accuracy is 80%. It is one of nine elemental moves that do the same damage, 120 HP, consisting of Fire Blast, Blizzard, Hydro Pump, Zap Cannon, Gunk Shot, Power Whip, Hurricane, Focus Blast and Megahorn.
Effect
In battle
The foe is blasted by a huge volume of water launched under great pressure. It inflicts damage and has no secondary effect. This move is one of the most powerful Water-type attacks.
