Hydro Pump is a non-contact Water-type move introduced in Generation I. It is very powerful, but it is not very accurate. It is also usually thought of as Blastoise's signature attack, although many Pokémon can learn the move. Its base attack power is 120 and accuracy is 80%.
Elemental Group
It is one of five elemental moves that do the same damage, 120 HP, consisting of Fire Blast, Blizzard, Hydro Pump, Zap Cannon, and Power Whip.
Effect
The foe is blasted by a huge volume of water launched under great pressure. It inflicts damage and has no secondary effect. This move is one of the most powerful Water-type attacks.
