Honedge is a Steel/Ghost-type Pokémon which was first introduced in Generation VI.
Biology
Physiology
Honedge is a sword with a blue eye on the hilt. On the bottom of the hilt is a blue strip of cloth. It has an unusual sheath with three holes at the top. When sheathed, the holes make it look like it has a menacing face.
Abilities
During the battle, it may be unsheathed from the scabbard. Its sharp blades can cause serious damage.
Behavior
If one were to carelessly take this blade in hand, it may find that blue cloth wrapping around itself, draining the energy from the body!
Evolution
Honedge can be evolved into a Doublade at level 35, which can then evolve into Aegislash using a Dusk Stone.

Trivia
- Hondege, along with its evolutions, is the only Pokémon with a steel/ghost matchup.
- Honedge, unsheathed, has a near-similar appearance to the Sword of Omens, short sword version, from the popular show Thundercats as both Honedge and the Sword are swords with one eye in the hilt.
Etymology
Honedge is a combination of hone and edge.
