Hocus (Japanese: マジック Magic) is a member of the Societea . His first appearence is Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs. He uses a Crobat against the player. His main target is Moltres. He also thinks he can make Pokémon disappear, which he probably can't. Hocus is first seen in Tilt Village, where he performs illusions for the children. Unbeknownst to the player he is an elite member of the Societea , an organization planning to retrieve the Golden Armor. Along with Kasa , Arley , and Edward , he fights the player and ends up being whisked away on a near the Union .
