For 5 turns, the target cannot select or execute any of the following moves: Heal Order, Milk Drink, Moonlight, Morning Sun, Recover, Rest, Roost, Slack Off, Softboiled, Swallow, Synthesis, and Wish. The effect ends when the target leaves the field. Heal Block does not prevent recovery from Black Sludge, Leftovers, and Shell Bell.
If Pokémon under the effect of Heal Block receives the effects of Wish, Wish will fail to heal. If a Pokemon uses Wish, is hit by Heal Block, and then switches out to another Pokemon, Wish will heal that Pokemon.
Aqua Ring and Ingrain do not heal their user while under the effects of Heal Block.
Leech Seed can be used and will still damage its target, but will not heal the user. Absorb, Drain Punch, Dream Eater, Giga Drain, Leech Life, and Mega Drain will also damage their target, but will not heal the user.
