Grant Tyrunt
Grant's Tyrunt was used as his 2nd Pokemon in Ash's Gym Battle. Tyrunt proved to be a excellent battler as it knocked out Froakie and Fletchling using its powerful Draco Meteor attack. It fell to Pikachu's Thunderbolt when Tyrunt got a rock stuck in its jaw, unable to use Crunch.

  • Grant is the third Gym Leader to have Pokémon revived from fossils on his team. The others are Sinnoh's Roark and Byron.
