Granite Cave (Japanese: いしのどうくつ Stone Cave) is right outside Dewford Town. The player is advised to use HM05 (Flash), however it is possible to reach the end without it. Granite Cave is in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.

The player needs to deliver a letter to Steven Stone in the deepest level of the cave. The Hiker next to the inside exit, gives you HM05 (Flash). The only way up to the 2nd story is to use a Mach Bike to go up the Muddy Slope.
