Granite Cave (Japanese: いしのどうくつ Stone Cave) is right outside of Dewford town. The player needs to use HM05 (Flash). Granite cave is in all Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. The player needs to give a letter to Steven Stone in the deepest level of Granite Cave. The Hiker next to the inside exit, gives you HM05 (Flash). The only way up to the 2nd story is to use a Mach Bike to go up the Muddy Slope.
