Gothorita (Japanese: ゴチミル Gochimiru) is a Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It is Duosion's counterpart.

Biology

Physiology

Gothorita is a humanoid Pokémon that has the appearance of a young girl. It has two bun-like pigtails with teardrop-shaped appendages on each side of its head. Its face is purple, and it has bright blue eyes and large pink lips. Its body is mainly black, with slender arms and legs. It appears to be wearing a black dress, and it has many white bow-shaped feelers attached to its body: four along the top of its head, and two on its torso. Despite its distinctly feminine appearance, both male and female Gothorita exist.

This Pokémon looks vaguely similar to a Kirlia, with a similar stance.

Behavior

According to legends, Gothorita is said to create friends for itself by controlling sleeping children at night. They mark star positions by using their psychic powers to levitate stones.

Special Abilities

Gothorita use starlight as their main source of celestial psychic power. It uses powerful hypnosis to control people and Pokémon.

Evolution

Gothorita is the evolved form of Gothita as of level 32, and evolves into Gothitelle at level 41.
