Gardenia's Roserade was the last Pokémon Gardenia used during her gym battle with Ash. Due to the fact that the sun was shining brightly that day, Roserade's Weather Ball was a Fire type move which allowed it to easily defeated Ash's Turtwig. However Aipom managed to defeat Roserage, smashing it through a tree and against the wall with Focus Punch.
