Gardenia's Cherubi is a grass-type Pokémon owned by Gardenia.
Biography
Requesting a battle against Ash, Gardenia sent Cherubi against Ash's Turtwig. However, Turtwig used Tackle and Razor Leaf to chase after Cherubi, so Gardenia swapped it with a Turtwig of her own.[1]
As Ash battled Gardenia in an official Gym battle, Cherubi was sent to battle Ash's Turtwig.
