On the second turn, the user hits the target with electrically charged ice. This may also leave the target with paralysis.
Freeze Shock is a two-turn attack move that has a 30% chance to paralyze the target. Freeze Shock has to charge on the turn it is selected on. On the second turn, it releases its attack. Despite the move taking up two turns, it only counts as one turn. If Freeze Shock is not fully executed, PP will not be deducted from it, and it will not count as the last move used. If the target uses Mirror Move during the turn that the user is charging, Mirror Move will copy the move that the user executed immediately before using Freeze Shock (or fail if it can't). Sleep, freeze, partial trapping, and flinching will pause but not disrupt the duration of Freeze Shock. The charge turn can be skipped if the user is holding a Power Herb.
In double battles, Freeze Shock can target any Pokémon around the user. In triple battles, Freeze Shock can only target a Pokémon that is adjacent to the user.
