On the second turn, the user hits the target with electrically charged ice. This may also leave the target with paralysis.
Freeze Shock requires a turn to charge, then on the next it is executed, doing damage and having a 30% chance to paralyze the target. Despite the Freeze Shock taking up two turns, it only counts as one turn. If Freeze Shock is not fully executed, PP will not be deducted from it, and it will not count as the last move used. The charging turn can be skipped if the user is holding a Power Herb. In a Double Battle, Freeze Shock can target any Pokémon around the user. In a Triple Battle, Freeze Shock can only target a Pokémon that's adjacent to the user.
