Hi guys I just wanted to bring something up which I think will cause a lot of opinions. I just went on the Simpsons Wiki and edited a page and I noticed they have a new editor. Now my first thoughts were "Wow this is set out so nicely!" and "It looks confusing but I think I could get used to it."

Then I scanned through (meaning I haven't read all of) the following blog. So my question is are we going to be using this new editor on our wiki, and if so when. Also I would like to know everyone elses thoughts on it - especially the Admins and members of PokePower.

P.S. This is my first forum message so I apologise if it's not set out right or my style of language is too formal or informal etc.

I don't like it whatsoever. Our editing tools are more user friendly as is. It is a lot harder to edit with this enabled. Technology Wizard · talk

No, please no. Please please please. Let's not consider this. Please. I've seen it. I've used it. It causes some glitches. It has glitches. Some of which effect monobook. It's ugly. But guys in the future when they've fixed the problems and they've sorted out how to adjust it to monobook and whatever, we will have to consider it again. If we want to evolve as a new wiki we'll have to start adding more features to keep people interested. -- Hstar (Talk)

Well, I don't know why we have RTE (visual mode) in the first place, it's horrid and messes up pages. I think we should just disable it. – Jäzzi 20:46, August 8, 2011 (UTC)
