::::The banner lets people know that the article is not finished so they don't judge the poor quality of the article as what to expect from the entire wiki... or that is how I am used to, I'm sure there will always be someone who does something different so my mistake then. {{User:felinoel/Signature}} 15:03, October 21, 2013 (UTC)

Forums: Index Help desk Stub banner placement

I've been noticing that the placement of the stub banner varies wildly here, is there any reason why on some articles it is put on the bottom of the page or should I move it to the top whenever I see it like that?

It should always be at the bottom of the page, but it should be just above templates such as this. RainbowShifter 14:48, October 21, 2013 (UTC)

People don't go round looking for stubs if they are just browsing for information. If you are an editor and looking for stubs to edit then you would be using the stub category which is automatically added when the stub template is on a page. RainbowShifter 14:59, October 21, 2013 (UTC)
The banner lets people know that the article is not finished so they don't judge the poor quality of the article as what to expect from the entire wiki... or that is how I am used to, I'm sure there will always be someone who does something different so my mistake then.
